Battle of Flowers
The Battle of Flowers is the oldest parade that takes place in the Carnival of Barranquilla and was organized for the first time in 1903 at the initiative of General Heriberto Arturo Vengoechea, who sought to celebrate the end of the Thousand Days War; Currently, large groups and folkloric groups and numerous floats participate in this parade along the Via 40 Cumbiódromo.
